ALLPLAN and BIMcollab proudly announce the official launch of their integrated solution for streamlined issue management within BIM projects. This solution provides enhanced collaboration, reduced errors, and accelerated checking processes.
In many BIM projects, issue management is paramount, and the seamless integration of the BIMcollab cloud-based issue management tool with Allplan 2024 simplifies this process. Users can now connect directly to their BIMcollab project from within Allplan via a dedicated palette, eliminating the need for manual BCF import/export. This cloud-based approach not only saves time but also ensures consistency and reduces errors throughout the BIM process.
The connection, initially introduced as a technology preview, has undergone significant enhancements based on user feedback and other improvements, culminating in the release of Allplan 2024-01. Alongside these improvements, the information contained within each issue has been expanded, enabling more detailed and comprehensive communication. Moreover, users can now customize the appearance of issues, adjusting settings for object color, transparency, and visibility. These enhancements streamline workflow and facilitate more effective identification of specific elements within the model.
We’re thrilled to officially launch the integration with BIMcollab, offering users a seamless experience in managing BIM issues,” said Martin Mikus, Product Manager at ALLPLAN.
“We’re excited to see the culmination of our partnership with ALLPLAN in this official launch,” commented Erik Pijnenburg, CEO of BIMcollab.
“We believe collaboration is in the DNA of openBIM, and this integration enables users to do it seamlessly and achieve exceptional results in their BIM projects.”
– Erik Pijnenburg, CEO of BIMcollab
