Thanks to the partnership between CADENAS and Resolto, customers can create a configurator from their CAD data and make it available in over 100 CAD formats
The two software manufacturers CADENAS GmbH and Resolto Informatik GmbH, part of the Festo Group, have entered into a cooperation agreement. “We are very pleased about the partnership with CADENAS. The cooperation will enable customers to use CADENAS data to quickly and easily create their own CONFIGON product configurator and export configurations in over 100 native CAD formats,” explains Dr Oliver Niese, Member of the Management Board of Festo Didactic SE & Head of Digital Business Festo SE & Co. KG.
The CONFIGON product configurator from Resolto is ready to use without installation and enables the configuration of complex products – conveniently and error-free in 3D. In addition to the quotation, CONFIGON generates all the data required for production and transmits the order.
Self Service Configurator
Component manufacturers who want to offer their customers an optimized shopping experience provide them with a product configurator. What sounds complex and is usually a case for the programmer, can be solved with the help of CONFIGON. Thanks to an intuitive modular system, a visually appealing configurator can be created based on CADENAS data without programming (no-code), with which products can be configured error-free with just a few clicks. More than CPQ
CPQ (Configure Price Quote) systems enable automated pricing and support the creation of quotations. "We took a close look at the CPQ market and asked our customers what annoyed them about conventional CPQ systems.
