From September 4 to 6, 2024, ZWSOFT hosted the ZWorld 2024 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Guangzhou, China. This year’s conference brought together over 600 participants from 38 countries, including partners, application developers, customers, educators, and students, all united under the theme of “Empowering Sustainable Innovation.”
ZWorld is ZWSOFT’s annual global ecosystem conference, bringing together new and long-standing ecosystem partners to explore the latest innovations and celebrate joint achievements.
In this year's opening keynote, Truman Du, CEO of ZWSOFT, shared his vision of empowering sustainable innovation through ecosystem partnerships. “Our goal is to create greater value and empower the sustainable development of our customers while achieving win-win cooperation with our ecosystem partners,” Truman stated. He highlighted the company’s strategic evolution, moving from focusing on cost-effectiveness to delivering industry-specific innovations that address broader needs beyond products.
Exploring Digital Transformation with Industry Leaders
Customers from a wide range of industries and regions, including Coconal, BOE Technology, and Shanghai Investigation Design & Research Institute, were invited to share their experiences in digital transformation and sustainable innovation. Juan Carlos, Director of Concession at Coconal, a leading Mexican construction company, discussed how advanced CAD solutions facilitate their construction projects. He mentioned, “As we pursue our goal of contributing to our country’s sustainable development, ZWSOFT and ZWCAD will remain key partners in our journey,” highlighting the critical role digital tools play in supporting Coconal’s sustainable construction efforts.
Driving Innovation through Ecosystem Partnerships
A key highlight of ZWorld 2024 were the sharing sessions by application developers, showcasing how their solutions can drive sustainable innovation across industries. Florian Cardi, Chief Corporate Development Officer at Sogelink, a leading construction technology company from France, shared insights into how their expertise in the surveying industry is helping rebuild Europe’s historic buildings. He emphasized, “It holds great social value that our solutions support the preservation of Europe’s historic buildings."
The event featured two tracks focusing on solutions for the AEC and the MFG Industry. Both explored how ZWSOFT’s CAx (CAD/CAE/CAM) solutions, along with developers' applications, are transforming workflows in architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing. In the attached exhibition area, 23 developers from different industries and regions, including Baezeni (Vietnam), FOV (South Korea), and YueQing Technology (China), demonstrated their cutting-edge solutions tailored to industry-specific challenges. The exhibition highlighted how ZWSOFT's ecosystem drives progress from multi-platform CAD solutions to cutting-edge tools like ADSCivil and ZW3D CAD+CAM. Through interactive demos and hands-on experiences, attendees were able to explore the full potential of ZWSOFT’s ecosystem solutions.
Celebrating Excellence and Achievements with Global Partners
This year also marked the 20th anniversary of ZWSOFT's international expansion, a milestone made possible by the dedication and contributions of its global partners. Over the years, partners from around the world have played a pivotal role in expanding ZWSOFT‘s presence in key markets and fostering innovation within the ecosystem. The Partner Award Ceremony recognized outstanding partners who have been instrumental in this journey, celebrating their collaboration and achievements. Andrew Choi, Founder of ZWCAD Korea, expressed, “From the start of our business to the completion of our Cheongdam headquarters, it’s our belief in ZWSOFT, our trust in ZWCAD, and our confidence in success that have driven us forward.”
The conference also provided an invaluable platform for partners to engage directly with ZWSOFT’s International Business and R&D teams. These sessions facilitated in-depth conversations on growth strategies, product roadmaps for ZWCAD and ZW3D, and future opportunities for collaboration. Partners, such as Ibercad from Portugal and ZW France from France, also shared their experiences in how they've navigated market challenges and achieved success.
Nurturing Future Talent through Partnerships with Educational Institutions
In addition to the collaboration with partners and developers, ZWSOFT used the event to celebrate the next generation of engineers and designers to deepen its commitment to talent development. Ma Wei, Head of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Qinhuangdao Vocational and Technical College, emphasized the importance of collaboration between enterprises and educational institutions, pointing out: “Together with ZWSOFT, we’ve successfully trained over 500 skilled professionals in mechanical design and manufacturing.”
Advancing CAx Technologies for Sustainable Innovation across Industries
The conference also prepared a stage for ZWSOFT’s R&D team to showcase the latest advancements in CAx solutions, illustrating how the company’s self-developed technologies, along with standardized products and industry-specific applications, are driving sustainable innovation across industries. Key sessions highlighted ZWSOFT’s All-in-One CAx Solution in streamlining digital transformation for enterprises by combining CAD, CAE, and CAM functionalities into a single workflow. Other highlights included CAD+AI, which leverages generative design to improve accuracy and efficiency in the AEC industry.

The event not only celebrated achievements but also set the stage for what’s next.
