Eviden, an Atos Group business leading in digital, cloud, big data and security, announces its “Cloud for Clinics” offering, a pre-integrated and secure platform for healthcare providers in Germany and the wider DACH region that will be built on AWS, which is sovereign by design, and uses AWS security services. The platform will help hospitals to accelerate their digital journey by providing a future-proof, secure and compliant platform pre-packaged with integrated healthcare solutions.
Digitalization is at the heart of the modernization of hospitals and clinics alleviating doctors and nursing staff of administrative strain and supporting planning and decision-making. At the same time, smarter IT solutions increase the efficiency of healthcare providers, deliver faster innovation and make new technologies more accessible in everyday use. IT professionals working in healthcare institutions are under enormous pressure, facing increased cyber security threats, the need to adapt to ever changing compliance (e.g. NIS2), regulations (KHZG) and a shifting strategic and economic environment (integrated care).
With “Cloud for Clinics”, Eviden is developing a fully managed, pre-integrated cloud-based platform, based on its experience of collaborating with hundreds of German hospitals providing them with critical core services such as SAP transformation, IT security and data strategy, which includes the following components:
- Industry Healthcare Landing Zone for the DACH region, providing platform-level compliance in full accordance with the latest SGB V regulation and fully C5 compliant, including cloud operations in Europe.
- Pre-configured and constantly growing application core based on an SAP template for clinics and a data strategy to bring clinics’ data assets out of their silos and make them available for better planning and decision support.
- Centralized data room for unified data management and facilitated value creation from clinical and operational data.
- Complete managed security (SIEM/SOC, cloud security, incident response) based on BSI-certified Eviden Trusted Security Services.
- Continuous expansion of the central platform service for a future-proof solution.
