Bluebeam® Software will be demonstrating eco-friendly paperless workflows at the 2014 Greenbuild Conference and Expo. The event will be held October 22-24 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.
Bluebeam’s flagship solution, Revu®, is enabling top design and building teams to digitize project communication, decrease paper usage by 85% and increase productivity by 60%.
The integrated cloud collaboration solution within Revu, Bluebeam Studio™, speeds up schedules and minimizes the risk of costly miscommunication and rework throughout the entire project lifecycle. In Studio, users can view and markup the same document sets at the same time, from a desktop, tablet PC or iPad.
Clark Construction is leveraging Revu to stay lean and green while building the $180 million LEED Platinum Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC). More than 30 design, engineering and construction teams are deploying advanced Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) methods, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and paperless workflow solutions on the project.
“It’s amazing how far we've come from full-size drawings and hand-posting on paper,” said Ashlynn Whitman, Clark Project Engineer on the ARTIC project. “The obvious benefit is the dollar savings, but also, this is a LEED Platinum project so Revu allows us to put forth the green principles that we talk about and are implementing on the project on a day-to-day basis.”
“Revu empowers project teams to digitally access, manage and share critical information to keep projects moving forward from anywhere, at any time,” said Bluebeam’s VP of Account Services, Kristine Hopkins. “Helping design, construction and facilities teams increase accuracy and efficiency by going paperless means that ‘Greenbuild Nation’ can work faster, smarter and better.”
The 2014 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is from October 22-24 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Bluebeam will be demonstrating in booth #1323.
