Aurigo Software, the leading provider of capital planning and construction management software for infrastructure and private owners, announced it has entered into a multiyear contract with the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Aurigo’s flagship product suite, Masterworks, will help the agency manage all aspects of project delivery, including financial management, construction planning, and program performance tracking.
Philadelphia is the sixth-most inhabited city in the United States, with an estimated population of 1.55 million as of 2024. It features a mix of historic neighborhoods, modern skyscrapers, and expansive green spaces, including Fairmount Park, one of the largest urban park systems in the country. Leading all major infrastructure projects, the Department of Streets ensures the efficient operation of 320 bridges and 2,525 miles of streets and highways.
“We are thrilled to partner with the City of Philadelphia in its mission to build a safer, cleaner, and greener city,” said Balaji Sreenivasan, CEO and founder of Aurigo Software. “Masterworks offers industry-leading technology that will help the agency modernize capital program management, delivering improved infrastructure that will enhance mobility, safety, and quality of life for Philadelphia’s residents.”
Masterworks will enable the agency to collect proposed projects, assess priorities, generate precise cost estimates, and assist with bid management. Once projects are underway, the system will keep track of budgets and help manage construction administration tasks, such as submittals, daily progress reports, and requests for information. It will also ensure streamlined workflow management by routing contracts, design reviews, and other approvals according to the agency’s specified processes.
The City of Philadelphia joins Aurigo’s expanding list of customers across North America—including the cities of Seattle, Sacramento, and Denver, along with regional organizations in Texas, Florida, and Ontario, Canada—using Masterworks to modernize their capital programs. Public sector demand continues to grow as agencies look to adopt end-to-end digital transformation, improving efficiency and driving long-term cost savings.
