Poka, the leading connected worker platform, announced that Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer Antoine Bisson will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2025, marking the next phase in the company’s evolution toward an AI-driven future for manufacturing. The leadership transition follows the announcement that Alex Leclerc, Co-Founder and CEO of Poka for more than a decade, will step down at the end of 2025 to return to his family business, Leclerc, the fifth-generation food manufacturer that inspired the origin of the Poka story.
Bisson, who has deep roots in software engineering and artificial intelligence, has led Poka’s transformation into an AI-native organization, embedding intelligence into every layer of its platform. Under his leadership, Poka is driving a new era of industrial AI adoption—one that augments frontline workers, accelerates knowledge sharing, and redefines how manufacturers connect people, processes, and performance.
“We are entering a pivotal moment in manufacturing,” said Antoine Bisson, incoming CEO of Poka. “AI is no longer a futuristic concept — it’s a practical tool that’s empowering workers to solve problems faster, make better decisions, and adapt to change in real time. Our mission is to make this transformation accessible to every factory, on every line.”
Alex Leclerc, who has worked alongside Bisson since the company’s inception, is confident that the company is in good hands:
“Poka has been my life’s work — a vision that started on the plant floor and grew into a global platform helping manufacturers empower their frontline teams,” said Alex Leclerc. “I know the company is poised for even greater impact under Antoine’s leadership.”
Advancing Industrial AI and the Augmented Workforce
The Poka AI strategy is built around the belief that the future of industrial work is augmented, not automated. The company’s platform leverages generative AI and contextual intelligence to help frontline workers capture, access, and act on knowledge faster — turning insights into productivity gains.
As manufacturers accelerate their digital transformation, the adoption of Poka continues to grow across leading global enterprises. The platform’s AI-driven capabilities are now a cornerstone of smart manufacturing strategies, helping organizations enhance safety, quality, and operational agility.
“Antoine’s leadership is a natural continuation of the Poka journey,” said Michael Ouissi, Chief Operating Officer at IFS. “His passion for manufacturing and product excellence will ensure Poka continues to thrive within IFS and deliver meaningful value to customers worldwide.”
