CONTACT Software invested in AI early on and provides CONTACT Fourier AI, a holistic architecture that embeds AI in every phase of the product lifecycle. “IPAI stands for sustainability, digital responsibility, and European sovereignty – just like CONTACT. We believe a European center for AI is developing here, and we want to actively contribute to setting and embracing new impulses,” says Udo Göbel, Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at CONTACT Software.
This membership allows CONTACT not only to contribute to the development of ethical and sustainable AI standards but also to benefit from the intensive exchange within the network, best-practice approaches, and customized educational programs. IPAI has been headquartered in the IPAI Spaces in Heilbronn‘s Zukunftspark since 2024. This location offers space for IPAI’s programs, the community, and the “IPAI Living Room” visitor center. The groundbreaking ceremony for the IPAI Campus in Heilbronn took place in October 2025, attended by various representatives from politics and business. Real-world labs, data centers, office spaces, and much more are planned to be built there.
