Renesas Electronics Corporation, a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, today announced new leadership appointments to accelerate its growth strategy in two of the world’s most dynamic and fast‑expanding markets, India and China.
Effective March 1, 2026, Malini Narayanamoorthi assumed the title of Vice President and President of Renesas Electronics India. She formerly served as India Country Manager and Vice President of MID Engineering within the Analog & Mixed Signal Product Group.
Over the past several years, Narayanamoorthi has played a pivotal role in expanding Renesas’ presence in India by building strong customer relationships, advancing key engineering programs, and strengthening collaboration across global teams. In her expanded role, Narayanamoorthi will further accelerate the company’s growth in India, driving strategic initiatives that tap into the country’s fast‑growing technology ecosystem, deep engineering talent, and emerging opportunities aligned with national priorities.
Renesas also announced that Yvonne Liu, an accomplished semiconductor executive with 26 years of industry experience, has been appointed Vice President and President of Renesas Electronics China, effective March 1, 2026. Liu’s career spans the full semiconductor value chain, with extensive experience across the automotive, consumer, industrial and IoT, as well as cyber security. Prior to joining Renesas, Liu held senior leadership roles at NXP Semiconductors, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of Greater China Automotive, where she led cross-functional teams to drive business success. In her new role, Liu will oversee Renesas’ operations and strategic execution in China. She will further strengthen engagement with customers and ecosystem partners and drive growth in one of the world’s most innovative and strategically significant technology markets.
Both Narayanamoorthi and Liu report directly to Hidetoshi Shibata, CEO of Renesas.
