Following 27 years of fruitful collaboration that enabled PolyWorks® to become the universal 3D metrology platform in German-speaking markets, InnovMetric has completed the acquisition of its German business partner Duwe-3d.
This transaction will enable InnovMetric to enrich the expertise of its European division and expand its technical services offering to ensure the success of its users in deploying the PolyWorks digital thread for dimensional inspection. PolyWorks customers and distributors will continue working with their established technical contacts and teams, ensuring continuity while benefiting from expanded European collaboration and resources.

Duwe-3d: 27 Years of Metrology Excellence
Founded by Dr. Hans-Peter Duwe, Duwe-3d became the master distributor of PolyWorks in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in 1999, when InnovMetric had fewer than 10 employees. Dr. Duwe would subsequently be at the heart of all PolyWorks developments for nearly three decades. The idea of managing 3D measurement data on a centralized server, which would later give rise to PolyWorks|DataLoop™, was born in 2011 during a discussion between Dr. Duwe and Marc Soucy, President and co-founder of InnovMetric. Over the years, Dr. Duwe has built a skilled and dedicated team that earned Duwe-3d a strong reputation among German manufacturing companies. Duwe-3d has also developed complementary products for PolyWorks that enable the import of measurement plans, add automation tools, and support digital clamping processes.
