IMAGINiT Releases Clarity 2027 for AEC Teams with New AI-Driven Interaction Capabilities

IMAGINiT Technologies launched Clarity 2027. Compatible with the latest versions of Autodesk Revit, Revit Server, AutoCAD and Civil 3D — with Revit support spanning the last five releases — Clarity 2027 delivers deeper AI integration through a new MCP connector, expanded automation capabilities including batch and Python script execution, and the ability to surface firm-defined model health metrics directly inside Revit.

“Increasing project complexity, the need to explore and incorporate AI and finding ways to manage the exploding volumes of data all while having to work more efficiently, are challenges our customers face,” said Bill Zavadil, president and chief operating officer of IMAGINiT Technologies. “By scaling automation in a way that is predictable, efficient and sustainable across the organization, they are able to extract greater value from existing tools. And that’s why we’re continuing to expand Clarity with new AI-driven capabilities to support more flexible, automated and efficient ways of working.”

Through workflow efficiencies and task automation, Clarity saves architectural, engineering and construction firms an average of more than 200 hours per project per year and the top 25 percent of Clarity users save between 10 and 55 hours per project per month. These gains reflect the growing need to leverage AI-first workflows and scalable automation to streamline task management and reduce reliance on time-intensive processes.

Key Highlights in Clarity 2027

  • Clarity MCP (AI Chatbot Task Launching): A new AI-interaction connector to the Clarity API now gives users the flexibility to launch Revit tasks and query data through any AI chatbot, enabling task execution from virtually any device without the need to be in Clarity or Revit.
  • Executable Batch Python Task Runner: Run and manage batch (.bat) and Python scripts directly within Clarity, with full visibility into task status, outputs and results, making it easier to monitor automation and troubleshoot issues without relying on external scheduling tools.
  • Bring Your Own App (BYOA) for Autodesk Secure Service Accounts: Use your own credentials for Autodesk API connections, giving organizations greater control over API interactions, improved reliability and better management of high-volume transactions while reducing the risk of shared rate limits impacting performance.
  • Enhanced Unified Sync Performance and Filtering: Faster file transfers with more precise filtering options, allowing teams to exclude unnecessary files and reduce API calls and data movement for more efficient system performance.
  • Streamlined Service Pack Delivery: Install once and receive ongoing enhancements through service packs without additional full installs, reducing administrative overhead and simplifying updates while ensuring faster access to new capabilities.
  • Publish Metrics to Revit: Surface admin-defined firm standards directly in Autodesk Revit, showing real-time metric status inside the model so users can identify and fix issues immediately—without leaving their workflow.

Clarity 2027 gives AEC teams more flexibility in how they manage project workflows through task automation and insights that help reduce reliance on time-intensive processes and enabling faster, more efficient project delivery. By improving how tasks are automated and processed, firms can better manage increasing workloads while maintaining performance and scalability across projects.
