Brazil is considered a driver of sustainable industrial transformation. Solutions provider Eplan has now acquired its long-standing sales partner, Eplan Brasil. The contract was signed on June 1, 2026. The approximately 50 employees at the São Paulo and Joinville locations will focus their efforts on expansion under the direct leadership of Eplan. The goals are ambitious: Brazil is to be developed as an innovation hub to gain additional market share domestically as well as in Chile, Peru, and Colombia. At the same time, activities in North and South America will be more closely integrated and coordinated.
With the acquisition of the partner, Eplan is driving growth forward.
“Over the past 30 years, Eplan Brazil, as a sales partner, has demonstrated precisely the expansionary strength and determination that have made the company one of our leading global players in sales and service,” explains Sebastian Seitz, CEO of Eplan. “My special thanks go to Rinaldo Baldini, who has led the team to this success over all these years.” The exceptionally young and highly motivated team of over 50 employees has developed continuously and dynamically. “We look forward to further developing Brazil as an innovation hub in South America within the Friedhelm Loh Group,” emphasizes Michael Jeschke, Vice President North & South America.
Long-term future perspective in mind
For a long time, Brazil was one of the few markets in the global Eplan network to be developed via a distribution partner model. Eplan Brasil was founded in 1997 by Rinaldo Baldini and has grown over the years to become the most important location in South America. Now, Baldini is retiring and handed over the successfully built company at the beginning of June. The team impresses with its innovative strength and high motivation, and with an average age of under 30 and a female representation of over 50 percent, it is considered exceptional. The branches in São Paulo and Joinville are already among the most developed and highest-performing locations in South America.
The Brazilian engineering experts cover all phases of the Eplan business – from software sales and implementation to training, consulting, and renewal management. Their customer base is as diverse as their service portfolio, ranging from agriculture and the dynamically growing energy sector to the automotive and food industries.
Leveraging synergies together with Rittal
Rittal, the sister company, has been active in Brazil for many years and operates its own production facility in São Paulo. As is the case worldwide, the Rittal and Eplan teams work closely together to unlock the potential for maximum automation in engineering and manufacturing for their joint customers through the targeted combination of software and hardware solutions.
“We have ambitious goals to further drive our growth through close networking of our locations in North and South America,” concludes Michael Jeschke, adding that he is certain: “Brazil will play a significant role in the global market as an innovation driver – especially in the areas of sustainable energy and agriculture.”
