Victoria Footwear, the Spanish designer and manufacturer of men’s, women’s and children’s footwear, has selected Centric Software to provide its product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
Victoria joins Camper, Cortefiel, MANGO and Mascaró as Centric’s fifth Spanish customer, and third Spanish footwear customer.
Victoria chose Centric 8 because of Centric’s reputation in the industry, experience with other European footwear makers, and the expertise of the company’s staff, says Liborio Sevilla, CEO of Victoria. “The solution is visually attractive and flexible enough to support the continuous changes that happen between collections.”
The Centric 8 PLM software will complement an enterprise resource planning (ERP) project Victoria implemented over the past two years, adds Sevilla. “The ERP software does not help in the management of creative design. Centric 8 will help manage the ‘creative chaos’ at Victoria in a positive, directed way and let creative staff stay focused on creativity.”
The Centric 8 PLM software will allow Victoria to eliminate the use of spreadsheets to track product development and improve visibility for every style in every collection, says Sevilla. “Fewer administrative tasks and distractions will mean fewer iterations for samples and prototypes.”
