Arena Solutions announced that Steve Chalgren, Arena’s vice president of product management & strategy, has been named a 2015 ‘Pros to Know’ by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine.
The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives, as well as manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises, that are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate.
Steve Chalgren was named a 2015 Provider Pros to Know, which recognizes individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who have helped their supply chain clients, or the supply chain community at large, prepare to meet these challenges.
Chalgren combines deep domain expertise with a proven record of delivering products that solve manufacturers’ real problems. For nearly five years, he has led the product management team at Arena Solutions to deliver modern cloud based products focused on helping the OEM outsource. Prior to Arena, he held leadership positions in product strategy at Oracle. Before that, Chalgren held positions in solution consulting, product management and led the Agile Advantage development team at Agile Software.
Before working in enterprise software, Chalgren spent nearly a decade in manufacturing supply chain operations, mainly for fast-growing technology start-ups. In these roles he gained an appreciation for the complexity of design-to-manufacturing processes and first-hand experience with their challenges.
