NGC Software today announced that PPI Apparel Group, a leader in private-label intimate apparel, is implementing NGC’s Extended PLM, which combines fashion PLM and Supply Chain Management (SCM) in a fully integrated, end-to-end solution.
PPI Apparel’s products are sold by leading retailers in thousands of retail stores worldwide. The company focuses on fashion intimates, shapewear and sleepwear for girls, juniors and women. PPI Apparel’s portfolio includes popular brands such as Playboy Intimates, Kathy Ireland Intimates, LA Gear, Union Bay, Strawberry Shortcake and many others.
NGC’s Extended PLM will provide PPI Apparel’s brands with an end-to-end solution, from initial product development and line planning to global sourcing, production management and inbound visibility. Features such as workflow calendars, global collaboration and exception dashboards will help further streamline productivity. NGC’s PLM and SCM system will integrate with PPI Apparel’s existing ERP solution, enabling the systems to seamlessly share and update information.
