Tata Technologies selected as a finalist for Automation Alley’s 2015 Technology Company of the Year

Tata Technologies has been named a finalist for Automation Alley’s 2015 Technology Company of the Year award.

Southeast Michigan’s leading technology companies were chosen to compete for the award for their boundary-pushing products, solutions and services that are shaping the future of manufacturing. Automation Alley’s Technology Company of the Year Award recognizes a local company that’s leading its industry and enhancing the region as a center for innovation. This year’s finalists also include Altair Engineering and Delphi Automotive.

“Tata Technologies is dedicated to helping great manufacturers create better products and run better businesses through the application of advanced technologies,” said Kevin Noe, Sales President and Chief Operating Officer – Americas at Tata Technologies. “It’s an honor to be considered for this prestigious award along with the other distinguished companies that have been nominated.”

Tata Technologies was selected for its efforts to advance high-tech engineering, design and manufacturing in the region. Notably, the company is helping address Southeast Michigan’s need for well-trained designers and engineers by:

·         Providing the curriculum and training classes to jump start Automation Alley’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) center at OU INC, Oakland University’s tech-focused business incubator

·         Leading an iCloud strategy that supports local universities, junior colleges and Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) education for the State of Michigan and small to medium-businesses

·         Support of a 10-week program to educate Automation Alley member companies on the variety of PLM tools available in the industry

Voting is now open and runs through Sept. 11. The winner will be announced Oct. 2 at the Automation Alley Awards Gala, Southeast Michigan’s premier technology business awards event, at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester.
