Atos today announced that for the fourth consecutive year, it has been selected as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI). In 2015, the Atos performance was recognized both in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World and in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Europe. As a result, Atos is the only multinational IT Services company this year to be part of both the World & European DJSI Indices.
The DJSI World tracks the performance of the top 10% of the 2500 largest companies that lead the field in terms of sustainability. The DJSI Europe focuses on the top 20% of the 600 largest companies in Europe.
This latest recognition follows a series of awards granted to Atos including the highest qualification by the Global Reporting Initiative with the GRI G4 comprehensive option for its 2014 Corporate Responsibility Integrated Report. Atos also received Gold Recognition Level based on its EcoVadis CSR rating and band A in the Climate Performance Leadership Index by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). In 2015, Atos took part in a new assessment by ACESIA where we were credited with 79 points out of 100, while the average rating in the IT sector is below 40.
Thierry Breton, Chairman & CEO of Atos, commented: "We are proud that the performance of Atos in the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability area has been recognized by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the fourth consecutive year.
