ModuleWorks and Bosch Rexroth present the latest results of their partnership at EMO 2015 in Milan.
The solution provides a range of simulation options, from visualising cutting simulation to full machine simulation of complex machine tools with collision detecting and clash avoidance. All this is done in real-time. Preconditions are the latest developments by the dedicated ModuleWorks team combined with the power of Rexroth’s CNC control IndraMotion MTX and the expertise of Bosch Rexroth.
The simulation technology is integrated into IndraWorks Operation, Rexroth’s standard HMI solution. This allows end users and machine tool makers to get the benefits across a wide range of machining processes.
Dr. Jens Brühl, Head of Engineering Automation Systems for Machine Tools at Bosch Rexroth: ‘The partnership between Bosch Rexroth and ModuleWorks has enabled us to provide a high level of sophisticated simulation functionality to our customers. We have now reached a level of processing power in the control that offers the potential to support functionality that was not possible a few years ago. We are proud to be amongst the first to bring this to the market.’
