Dassault Systèmes today announced its partnership with Centurion University of Technology & Management, Odisha (CUTM) to offer virtual design and digital manufacturing programmes with assault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform for Academia on the cloud.
This would be the first ever all on cloud programme being offered in India through Dassault Systemes, by a University. The collaboration would involve Dassault Systèmes technology and applications, interactive learning and training material and Dassault Systemes’ professional certification. Centurion group is a ten year old university, its first College was started in Parlakhemundi located in Gajpati District of Odissa.Centurion group has made committed efforts to bring about a difference to this area; both academically and socio-economically.
Today, Centurion University has five campuses at Paralakhemundi, Bhubaneswar, Bolangir, Rayagada, and Chatrapur offering B. Tech., MBA, +2 Science, ITI, Primary and Secondary Education in addition to Skill and Vocational Training and Social Entrepreneurship initiatives. To uplift technical skill development of students, Centurion University has launched its Industry relevant PG Diploma Courses, ACCEPT (Academic Centre of Excellence in PLM Technologies) programme.
Through this partnership Dassault Systèmes would serve as a technology partner for the ACCEPT programme to offer world leading 3DEXPERIENCE platform at the centre, for teaching students. ACCEPT will use 3DEXPERIENCEplatform on cloud to address the skill gap in higher technical education as well as for the PG Diploma. The cloud application for Centurion will address 86 high end Domain Applications and covers around 19 commercial roles.
3DEXPERIENCE for Academia, is the most advanced software for product and learning innovation, and it is now available in a few clicks, on the cloud, to all educators and students who want to experience the engineering practices of industry leaders for increased employment opportunities in the new global economy. Years of collaboration with educators and students across various institutions and disciplines have led to a flexible, tailored set of learning solutions.
3DEXPERIENCE for Academia comes as a multi-disciplinary social collaboration baseline. It can be extended with dedicated packages supporting educational, research and organisational processes in Design and Engineering, Systemes Engineering, Manufacturing and Production and in two new domains: Architecture and Civil Engineering and Governance Project and Management.
Dassault Systèmes has been collaborating with educators and students across various institutions and disciplines in order to create a flexible, tailored set of solutions that would place easy and natural collaboration between teachers, researchers, students and industry mentors at the center of social innovation.
