Gerber Technology announces that Chasing Fireflies®, a leading children's and family lifestyle brand, has deployed the cloud-based version of YuniquePLM™. Chasing Fireflies offers clothing, costumes, toys, artwork and other items through its direct-to-consumer catalog and online business.
Chasing Fireflies has been using YuniquePLM to manage product development and information for the creation of its proprietary children's costumes and apparel. Previously, Excel was used to manage styles, and spreadsheets were conveyed to manufacturing partners for sample and final production. With YuniquePLM, techpacks are sent to the manufacturer with everything they need to know, through the simple press of a button.
YuniquePLM was selected for its ability to maintain consistent data integrity throughout the product management lifecycle; individuals are notified when changes are made, and the entire wealth of specification files can be found in one location. Designers at Chasing Fireflies manage sketches with the YuniquePLM Design Suite, allowing users to create, access and modify styles, color palettes, images and more directly to PLM without ever leaving Adobe Illustrator®.
