SCSK services leverage the experience and know-how that has been cultivated over many years throughout the chain of operational processes.
aPriori president and chief executive officer Stephanie Feraday commented: “In an August 2015 survey published by TechValidate , more than 54% of manufacturers indicated that new product development teams need better visibility into the cost implications of design changes (Source: TechValidate. As major manufacturers in the Japanese automotive and industrial machinery markets work to accelerate the launch of innovative new products, it is critically important that they equip their product teams with solutions to identify and eliminate cost drivers early in the design process and make informed sourcing decisions. We are honored to be working in partnership with SCSK to deliver the benefits of PCM to this market.”
“aPriori is known throughout the world as the leading provider of product cost management solutions,” said Mr. Hidefumi Okamura, General Manager, Business Promotion Department. “They have delivered successful product cost management solutions to global manufacturers such as Whirlpool, ThyssenKrupp Elevator, Honeywell Aerospace, and Nacco Material Handling Group (NMHG). These companies are now identifying and eliminating cost drivers early in the design process and can cost optimize a higher percentage of parts than ever possible using manual or home-grown costing solutions. We are looking forward to our new partnership with aPriori and to bringing this technology to the leading manufacturers of Japan.”
