M-Fly, the University of Michigan's SAE Aero Design team, is a student project that focuses on designing, building, and flying an R/C aircraft.
In the running for the Advanced Class SAE Aero Design Competition for the first time this year, the M-Fly team will benefit from free training and access to modeFRONTIER optimization platform, currently installed on more than 200 computers at the University of Michigan.
"The whole team is excited to use modeFRONTIER in our design projects. We are looking forward to achieving great results at the next SAE Aero Design Competition", said Zachary Meves, member of the M-Fly SAE Aero Design Team and Advanced Class Chief Engineer at the University of Michigan.
