Planview® today announced the new Projectplace specifically designed to enable the next generation of collaborative work management solutions for teams. The new Projectplace includes a streamlined visual redesign, the next-generation of collaborative workstreams, and a new My Overview that provides a single view of a team member’s work and personal tasks.

The new Projectplace also introduces its unique, next-generation, collaborative workstreams. This innovative approach to planning and executing collaborative work improves focus, prioritization and visibility, ultimately improving the flow of work throughout teams. The new streamlined interaction between Gantt-based activities, Kanban boards and task cards allows users to directly connect planning with execution, and monitor tasks, activities and goals in a single, consolidated view that puts focus on the most time-sensitive activities for the week.
In addition, Projectplace continues to move beyond projects to enable teams to collaborate on different types of work. Over a third of users use Projectplace every day in a non-project context to support team-centric work that is continuous and ongoing. In addition, many users have personal boards to track their daily to dos. In recognition of these usage patterns, the new My Overview provides a single view for every user of their professional work as well as personal tasks. Bringing together this collective view improves focus, prioritization, and the ability to get work done.
