Symmetry, a leading enterprise application management and cloud-hosting solutions provider, has announced the migration and ongoing production success of EveryWare Global's SAP® environment in the Symmetry Enterprise Cloud. The hosted solution is managed by Symmetry's team of certified SAP Basis and Security consultants and protected by Symmetry's cloud-based disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) to ensure uptime and availability.
EveryWare Global is one of the world's leading marketers of tableware, food preparation and specialty products for the foodservice and consumer markets under the ONEIDA® and Anchor Hocking brands, which leverages SAP as its core enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Symmetry's Enterprise Cloud is engineered to support and manage production SAP and SAP HANA workloads alongside traditional IT workloads.
"After evaluating the leading managed application and IT infrastructure service providers, we chose Symmetry for its ability to dynamically scale resources, reduce risk and improve compliance, while minimizing operating costs," said Melinda Perry, Manager of ERP SAP applications for EveryWare Global. "What we did not anticipate was the significant value of Symmetry's SAP experience and technical expertise that is matched only by their commitment to being a valued partner and trusted extension of our IT team."
Symmetry, a certified SAP Hosting, Cloud and SAP HANA Operations provider, recently announced that it has expanded its platform into Phoenix and Northern Virginia, complementing existing data centers in Chicago and Madison, WI. The expansion and technical advancements significantly increases Symmetry's ability to provide comprehensive and highly compliant cloud solutions supporting a wide range of IT workloads spanning SAP, SAP HANA, other critical third party applications and traditional IT workloads.
"EveryWare Global exemplifies modern businesses looking to the cloud for rapid response to changing business conditions, faster project implementation times, and reducing capital expenditure by moving to a pay as you go model," said Pete Stevenson, Chairman and CEO of Symmetry. "We are pleased to provide the purpose-built cloud architecture and deep SAP expertise that powers our customers' business solutions today while addressing their future requirements."
