Edgecam’s Hungarian reseller, Enterprise Group, has partnered with Seco Tools and the NCT machine tool company to run the country’s fourth Edgecam competition for secondary schools.
Held in Budapest, the final of the competition involved the ten winning students from earlier rounds working on five Edgecam milling tasks through zero point setup, toolpath repairing and creating new toolpaths.
Tibor Veres, from Enterprise Group, says while the students were working on their tasks, Seco Tools made a presentation to their teachers.
When the challenge had finished, NCT gave a demonstration on one of their machining centres, programmed with Edgecam and using Seco cutting tools.
