Aconex Limited today named Baraq Hadi, previously vice president at Bentley Systems, as general manager of the Middle East. He is responsible for Aconex business throughout the Gulf region, which contributed A$12.2 million to the company's total revenue for the first half of the financial year ending June 30, 2017. Mr. Hadi reports to Henry Jones, senior vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and global accounts.

Baraq's 20 years of managing project delivery and asset management services in the region have positioned him well to drive our continued growth. We expect his enterprise-level experience with the Gulf's largest asset owner/operators and contractors to help us deliver increasing value to our customers."
At Bentley Systems Middle East and Africa, Mr. Hadi was responsible for the local and global engagement and growth of strategic accounts in the oil and gas, power, water, and transportation sectors. He spent two years as country manager of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and managed Bentley acquisitions in South Africa and Turkey.
Previously, Mr. Hadi held senior technical consulting and project management positions at Convergent Group, a leading geographic information system (GIS) provider, Intergraph Corporation, and American Digital Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alabama, Huntsville, and is fluent in both English and Arabic.
