Oracle to Host BOMI International's High-Performance Sustainable Buildings Credential Program at its Headquarters in Redwood City, CA

BOMI International has entered an agreement with Oracle to provide the three-part, High-Performance Sustainable Buildings (BOMI-HP™) designation program to its employees. The program will begin on August 24, 2017, and run through February 17, 2018, with all courses to take place within Oracle's headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Registration for these courses will be open to public.

"We appreciate Oracle's commitment to high performance sustainable buildings," said Jeffrey Horn, President and CEO of BOMI International. "Oracle is synonymous with innovation—and we're thrilled to be a part of their progressive approach toward maintaining a healthy and more productive environment for their employees."

BOMI International has been a preferred education partner of Oracle since 2014. To date, 27 BOMI International designations have been awarded to Oracle employees, with another 11 in process. However, this will mark the first occasion that one of BOMI International's courses is being delivered within Oracle's world headquarters.

Horn went on to say "BOMI International's credentials are highly respected throughout the industry of property and facility management—and our High-Performance Sustainable Buildings program fits very well with the sustainability initiatives George Denise [Oracle's Director of Operations–RWS and Director of Sustainability–HQ] has put in place."

Growing occupant demand, investor pressures, and building code requirements have led to a new standard in high-performance building, driving many markets to mandate comprehensive sustainability and energy-efficiency programs. BOMI International developed the BOMI-HP designation program to further enhance the competencies—knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform key job functions—of property and facility management professionals who are responsible for implementing sustainable initiatives.
