Nicholson will make a keynote presentation at PLM Road Map™ 2014 that will show how PLM can help accelerate product development when it enables well managed model-based systems engineering.

Nicholson is the Executive Director for Global Embedded Controls at GM. In this role he is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the global engineering team that is responsible for all powertrain controllers and software as well as calibrating all powertrains, providing customer-pleasing drive quality, and ensuring compliance with tailpipe emissions standards, and on-board diagnostics. Nicholson joined GM in 1982 and has an extensive background in product engineering progressing through a series of leadership positions in the USA and in Germany.
