CIMdata and ANSYS, Inc., conducted an on-line, by invitation survey of senior level people in industrial companies on the use of MBSE in their organizations. Significant findings are reported in the whitepaper. Some highlights are: while MBSE tools and well defined processes are important, adoption by people is critical to success; that MBSE users are receiving real value as indicated by the survey responses; and (as shown in the chart) that large, small, and A&D companies deploy MBSE by project. Many additional findings are recounted in the whitepaper supported by charts of germane data.
