ASCENT - Center for Technical Knowledge Releases Autodesk Official Training Guides for Autodesk 2015 Software

Rand Worldwide today announced that its courseware division, ASCENT – Center for Technical Knowledge, is making an initial release of new Autodesk Official Training Guides (AOTG) for Autodesk 2015 software which are available through ASCENT’s online store atASCENTeStore.com. In the coming months, ASCENT expects to release at least 40 more titles for Autodesk 2015 software.

As the sole provider of Autodesk Official Training Guides, ASCENT’s expert team of courseware developers and trainers receive early access to new releases of software so they can produce high quality training materials that keep pace with the latest software releases. The timely launching of the 2015 Autodesk Official Training Guides ensures that civil, building and mechanical designers and engineers can immediately benefit from the latest advancements in the industry’s leading 3D design software.

"We will release more than 60 titles for Autodesk 2015 software over the next six to eight months," said Paul Burden, director of product development for ASCENT. "So these initial releases represent a first step in meeting the demand for 2015 training resources that begins to develop immediately after software availability. ASCENT’s training guides are designed to provide high quality instruction in the classroom, for self-study, and as a reference for ongoing use outside the class. The following Autodesk Official Training Guides are currently available for purchase:

  • Inventor 2015 iLogic (Mixed Units)
  • Revit 2015 Architecture Fundamentals (Metric)
  • Revit 2015 MEP Fundamentals (Imperial)

Autodesk Official Training Guides - Highlights

New in the 2015 guides, objectives for both the User and Professional Certification Exams are included as call-outs throughout the guide as well as in an appendix, making studying for Autodesk certification fast and efficient. In addition, updated icons throughout the books will allow users to easily identify software enhancements in the 2015 product; new functionality introduced in 2015; and Autodesk Certification objectives.

ASCENT also offers Instructor Tools, Official Certification Preparation books, eBooks and self-paced eLearning Bundles. Content for ASCENT’s eBooks and eLearning is drawn from their printed guides, providing users with personal electronic access to training materials and exercises.
