SoftInWay Inc, officially announced today the opening of a permanent office in New York City, New York. This is the company’s second US office, with headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts, and fifth global office, with facilities in Switzerland, India, and Ukraine. The office is located at 149 Madison Avenue near 32nd Street. SoftInWay moved into its new location at the end of the summer.
For SoftInWay, 2014 was a very big year, with release of several new products including AxSTREAM 3.3, AxCYCLE for power plant cycle design, analysis and optimization as well as the new SoftInWay Turbomachinery University, which offers self-study classes and certification for Turbomachinery professionals worldwide. This growth, coupled with an increased scope of turbomachinery design, analysis and optimization services, has led the company to make the strategic decision to reorganize all US based sales and marketing people into one office as well as add significant headcount.
The new NYC office will act as the global Sales, Marketing & Strategic Development headquarters. New York City’s reputation as a global hub for international business will aid SoftInWay in expanding its presence in the worldwide engineering market. The company hopes to take advantage of the city’s talented work force, innovative environment, abundance of lean technology startups as well as new financial partners and investors.
