PDES, Inc., the leading international consortium focused on advancing digital engineering standards and interoperability, announced that Anark Corporation has joined PDES, Inc. as a member organization.
Anark Corporation’s membership reinforces a shared commitment to advancing ISO STEP standards downstream, enabling standardized, trusted data exchange from design and engineering through manufacturing, sustainment, and operational environments. PDES, Inc. provides a neutral forum where stakeholders collaborate to align standards development with real-world implementation needs. Together, PDES, Inc. and Anark Corporation aim to accelerate standards adoption, strengthen cross-organizational collaboration, and enable reliable digital product data exchange across the full lifecycle.
“Anark has a long history of helping organizations operationalize complex digital product data across the enterprise,” said Dr. Michael Jahadi, President and Chairman of the PDES, Inc. Board. “Their participation strengthens PDES’ mission to move ISO STEP standards beyond definition and into production-ready use. Industry progress depends on collaboration between standards bodies and companies that understand how these standards are applied within digital thread programs.”
As a PDES member, Anark Corporation will collaborate with industry, government, and technology partners to advance practical implementation of ISO STEP standards. This includes supporting use cases that connect engineering intent to manufacturing, sustainment, and operations while enabling a continuous, standards-based digital thread.
“Standards-based interoperability is essential for delivering trusted product data at scale,” said Brett Heinrichs, CEO of Anark Corporation. “Joining PDES allows us to work alongside industry leaders to drive ISO STEP standards downstream and ensure they are applied in ways that directly support engineering, manufacturing, and long-term data usability. We look forward to contributing our experience to the PDES community.”
