During 2014, all major geographies continued their recovery from the global recession. CIMdata forecasts a continued rebound to growth in all major regions during the five-year forecast period, with Asia-Pacific growing above the overall PLM average.
The Americas region is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 6.1% to reach $18.3 billion in 2019. EMEA and AP will have CAGRs of 5.7% and 6.8% respectively. EMEA will grow to $17.7 billion and AP will reach over $14.7 billion in 2019.

There was continued weakness in Russia, once thought to be an engine for future growth. China is slowing a bit and India has yet to take off. Where we are seeing solid growth is in Eastern Europe and the emerging economies of Southeast Asia. As their local markets grow, these countries will start making more of their own products for local sales, driving PLM investments.”
