In his keynote address, “Digital Product Definition & Why Standards Matter,” Weimer will reflect on the challenges posed by this re-focus on product integration across multiple industrial partners, and show how the use of open interoperability standards can help overcome some strong challenges.
Weimer leads the PLM Architecture and Innovation team within the Information and Communication Technology office at Airbus. His responsibilities include the PLM strategy and planning for Airbus, the related architecture governance, as well as the innovation and research program related to PLM. Over the span of his career at Airbus he has been involved in a number of roles ranging from customer service to engineering to information and communication technology.
