Bob Deragisch has been working the benefits and challenges of the digital thread using 3D models for over eight years. His organization sits in the middle of a complex supply chain in the aerospace, automotive, and mechanical hardware industries. Managing engineering changes is a critical step for Parker’s business strategy. In his presentation, Managing Change Using Models in an Ever Changing Supply Chain, he will discuss where Parker fits in the supply chain, what drives the engineering changes, and the critical need to understand that one size does not fit all because each program has unique challenges and the technology is rapidly advancing. The presentation will take place on day 2 of the event as part of a full day of presentations curated by the 3D CIC team.
Bob Deragisch is the Aerospace Group’s Director of Engineering & Infrastructure Services. He is also the Enterprise Architect for the Group and is responsible for acquisition, implementation, deployment, and support of all engineering tools and processes, and integration of all business systems, across the $US2.3 billion operating segment of Parker-Hannifin. Additionally, he is the director of eBusiness initiatives for the Group, with an emphasis on collaboration with customers, suppliers, and partners.
